Monday Night will be 6 a side competition, and Wednesday Night will remain a 7 a side competition.

Team and Individual Player Nominations can be made online via Nominations or by contacting the Office of PURE TOUCH.   We will make every effort to place individuals into a Team but unfortunately we cannot guarantee this.

3 - FIXTURE TIMES.

The first Fixtures/Games of each game night start at approximately 6.45pm with the final game of the night concluding by approximately 9.45pm - the start time can be later depending on number of fields and teams nominated.  A Fixture is 40 minutes, comprising two (2) 20 minute halves.  We will try to accommodate requests for specific game times however we cannot guaranteed this.

5 - VENUES.

Venues have floodlit full size touch fields with off road parking and canteen facilities.  All fields are well maintained with regular inspection.  A Venue Manager is present at all Fixtures to assist players and to manage the nightly competition.

6 - SEASON FEES. Click here for Online Payment Form

Full information about Season Fees and Discounts available are detailed on the Pure Touch web; please click on Fees for a direct link to this information.

Team Fees.          A Team Deposit of $200.00 is required one (1) week prior to the commencement of a new Competition.  Unfortunately a Team cannot be placed on the Draw if the Team Deposit has not been received by Pure Touch.

Team Fees are required in full by the end of Round four (4).  If a Team is not financial by the end of Round four (4) they will regrettably be removed from the next draw and a late payment fee of $75.00 will be charged. Any games missed will be treated as a 5 - 0 Forfeit loss.  Once payment is received the team will be returned to the draw at the next possible opportunity.

At the discretion of Pure Touch, the Multi Team Fee Discount may be withdrawn if the Fees of all Teams who comprise the Multi Team Group are not finalized by Round 4 of the Competition.

Individual Players.   Once an Individual Player has been placed in a Team, the player pays the Individual Player Fee directly to the Manager of the Team.

10 - TEAM CAPTAIN RESPONSIBILITIES.

11 - PLAYER ELIGIBILITY.

A Team player must play a minimum of five (5) regular Fixtures to qualify to play for that Team in the Finals Rounds.  Players can play in multiple grades in the same division, however during Finals we cannot guarantee that their games will not conflict.

12 - DRAWS and POINTS.

Draws are posted on the PURE TOUCH web at least 48 hrs prior to the commencement of the first game.

On occasion the draws may be altered after having been released; where possible the office will contact the teams affected. However this is sometimes not possible, as a result of this, Team Managers are asked to check the web each week for any changes and in particular the night before their Teams game.

The Points table is updated on the PURE TOUCH web approximately every two to 3 weeks. Points are allocated based on -  Wins, For/Against,  Draws,  Byes and  Forfeits.

Points System will be as follows:

WIN 3 points
DRAW 2 points
LOSS 1 point
FORFEIT LOSS 0 points
BYE / Forfeit Win 3 points with a 5 - 0 (For - Against score)

13 - GRADING and FINALS.

Team grading occurs during the first four (4) Fixtures of the competition.  Grading will be a progressive process throughout the season.  All teams will qualify and participate in the Finals.

14 - COMMUNICATION.

PURE TOUCH Office hours are Monday to Friday 10 am - 4.30 pm.  A message facility is available if the phone is unattended at the time of your call.

Most communication is via email. The point of contact between PURE TOUCH and players is the Team Manager.  We will made every effort to contact the Team Manager with information affecting players, current contact details of the Manager are therefore critical.  The Team Manager is responsible for passing information on to players.

15 - WET WEATHER:

The fields are in excellent condition but occasionally fixtures need to be called off to ensure the safety of players and to prevent damage to the fields.  Fixtures cancelled due to weather (to a maximum of 3 per season) will be played later in the season and will not be lost.

A decision on the state of play due is made by 4:00pm on the day of the game and posted on the PURE TOUCH web under Wet Weather.  Alternatively contact the Office.

16 - REFEREES.

PURE TOUCH Referees are recruited, trained and developed to a high standard.  Our Referees range from beginning  through to International level and are eligible for selection in Regional, State, National and International tournaments.

We always welcome new additions to our referee ranks.  Referees are paid for each game they referee and our aim is to have two (2) Referees at each game.  If you are interested please either: nominate online at Nominations or see your Venue Manager or call the Office on Tel: 3879 2192.

Referees are essential to the sport and as PURE TOUCH expects our Referees to treat all players with respect the same respect is expected of payers towards Referees.

17 - INSURANCE - Please refer to the Insurance index for full details

While playing at a PURE TOUCH Venue, players are insured through Sportscover Australia for Accident's / Injury's.

It is important for all players to know what the cover provides/does not provide.  If you have any question after reading the information in the Insurance index please contact the Insurance Broker on the listed numbers.

18 - DISPUTES and COMPLAINTS:

All disputes or complaints must initially be made to the Venue Manager who has full authority to resolve most problems.  Any disputes or complaints that can not be resolved by the Venue Manager can be referred to the office within two (2) business days of the incident.

19 - RULES of PLAY:

Pure Touchfootball is affiliated with National Touch Rugby Association (NTRA) and plays by the rules of NTRA.  The rule book is available on our website or by contacting your Venue Manager. Click here to Download the NTRA Rule Book (PDF Format)

*    Forfeits
Where a team is unable to field a Team the Team Manager or Captain is to advise the Office by phone or email before 4:00pm of the day of the game.  If a team forfeits a match without contacting the office before this time, a $50 forfeit fee will be charged. The office will make every effort to contact the opposition to advise them of the forfeit, however this is not always possible.  For the purpose of Points the forfeiting team is recorded as a 0-5 loss and the opposing Team a 5-0 win

*    Byes
Byes are occasionally necessary where an uneven number of teams are in the same grade.  In this case, Teams will take turns having byes. Teams may not end up having the same number of byes as other teams in their grade and this is at the discretion of Pure Touchfootball.  A team with a bye will be awarded 3 points as if it won the game 5-0.

*    Team Uniforms

A Team 'uniform' comprises a colored shirt (all the same but of any colour) with a clearly marked and permanently affixed number on the back of the shirt.  Footwear includes socks and shoes designed for grass sports - sandshoes can be slippery and so increase the risk of injuries.  Shoes with "tags" are not permitted.

At the discretion of Referee's/Venue Managers a player out of uniform (including missing numbers) after Round five (5) may not be allowed to take the field.  Non uniformed players will not be permitted to play in the Finals Rounds.

*    Restrictions
Players must remove all jewelry before taking the field, including watches.  All fingernails must be cut or taped up to prevent injury to other players.
*    Penalties / Suspensions
By playing at a PURE TOUCH competition, players agree to abide by the Judicial process of Pure Touchfootball.  Referees are guided by the the NTRA rule book to award penalties.  PURE TOUCH has zero tolerance regarding verbal abuse, physical violence, threats or other unacceptable conduct and this behavior will be penalized accordingly.

The following further penalties can be applied where warranted.

# Subbed off:    A Referee can instruct a player to leave the field but allow this player be substituted by another player.  The player can not return to the field until advised to do so by the Referee awarding the penalty Sin binned - a Referee may sinbin a player and this player may not be replaced and must remain beside the sideline, in line with their team's attacking score line.  A sinbinned player can not return to the field until directed by the Referee awarding the penalty.  A player sin binned more the 3 times in one season at any PURE TOUCH will incur an automatic 2 weeks suspension.

# Sent off.        A Referee may send a player off for the rest of the game.  This player must leave the field immediately, cannot be replaced and take no further part in the game.  When a player is sent off the Referee will prepare a report and lodge this with the Venue Manager.  An automatic suspension of two (2 weeks) will apply with no opportunity to appeal.

The Referee and Venue Manager can recommend that the person receive a longer sentence. Where this occurs the Judiciary will consider the send off report and statements from Referees, the player and team captains. They may extend the suspension period. The player or team captain will be notified of the decision. The player can appeal the decision by the Judiciary. An appeal can be made by advising the office in writing within 3 business days of the decision being notified to the player. A deposit of $50 must be paid to appeal a decision. This is refundable if the decision is reversed or suspension reduced.

  • Teams that do not conduct themselves to an acceptable standard will be given an official warning.  Teams or players who continue to behave in an unacceptable manner may be removed from the competition. This is at the sole discretion of the Pure Touchfootball management committee. If a Team or player is expelled from the competition under these circumstances a refund of fees will not be given.

 20- COMPLIANCE with LAWS and REGULATIONS:

Players will at all times comply with any laws or regulations applicable including alcohol laws, noise restrictions etc. Players who do not comply may be expelled from the competition.
